Richard Dugger, atop instructor at GoDance Studio in Austin, Texas, began dancing Juniors in UCWDC and has been teaching professionally for twelve years. He is a master of teaching clean, crisp technique and innovative patterns that add zest and sparkle to your dance!
Rima Star, has been dancing Pro-Am with Richard for three years and placing in the top three in every competition. Rima is a Wellness Consultant and teacher of Ebb & Flow Integration Therapy. She will provide classes covering relaxation, stress management and injury prevention for dancers. Rima is regular Key West visitor and has been bringing groups of people for health and wellness retreats for the past 18 years. Each trip includes time out on the water in the dolphin’s playground observing, snorkeling and “dancing” with a territorial pod of free dolphins. Captain Victoria and Videographer, Marty Stonely help to make this day unforgettable.

Featured Dances:West Coast Swing & Two-Step These are” hybrid” dances which combine elements of smooth and rhythm. Study of these dances can help you in all your dances! Workshop is suitable for intermediate and advanced dancers (although not necessarily in these two dances).

Join us out on the water with Captain Victoria, and Rima Star as we bring our music and our love of dance to the free dolphins in the Key West wildlife refuge. Let’s see what kind of a dance party we can create with these light –hearted masters of movement. Snorkeling equipment & lunch provided.

Fun and Life Long Memories from Participating in one of the Most Unique Dance Learning Opportunities Anywhere!
Additional Information: Travel—You can fly directly into Key West or rent a car in Miami and make the beautiful three hour drive. It is usually not necessary to rent a car in Key West unless you want to take a day trip.
Lodging—we are negotiating to rent a house and cottage with a pool, hot tub and kitchens and within walking distance of historic Old Town Key West. Ask for details. Lodging Fees are still being determined. We can also recommend other lodging if you like.
Meals—If you like to cook, bring a favorite menu and we’ll share in cooking together. There are also an abundance of excellent restaurants nearby. We’ll plan to go out as a group at least once.
Dancing Dolphins Boat Excursion—Snorkel and fins are available on the boat. We will also provide lunch.Bring swim suit, towels, sun screen, hats and any music you would like to play for the free dolphin pods! Bring your camera as well. Rima and Captain Victoria, together, have been facilitating groups of people to enjoy and interact with the territorial dolphins in the Wild Life Refuge surrounding Key West for over 15 years. This special Dancing Dolphin Day will be a rare opportunity to observe, play and relax with these awesome dolphin-human facilitators and the masters of movement themselves—the dolphins!
Video—Our aim is to provide Instructional video of our dance classes as well as footage of our Dancing Dolphins Day. There will be a cost to purchase a video and we will let you know at the time of our trip what the exact cost will be (Estimated Cost $40)
Private Instruction—may be available if schedule permits for 1-2 people at a time for the special rate of $60, on a space available basis. Check upon registration.
Private EFI Therapy™ Sessions, Wellness Consultations and Massages—may be available as time permits for the special rate of $60 per hour. Check upon registration.
Gratuities—are welcome by our featured dance instructor, Boat Captain and anyone else you feel like gifting! Special envelopes will be available in your registration packet.
Reef ReliefDonation—a non-profit organization that works to preserve, protect and maintain the coral reefs and waters of the Key West, Bahamas area. Dancing Dolphins Workshop will be making a donation to this amazing group. If you would like to make an additional contribution or join as a member please do. Materials will be included in your registration packet.
